I heard so much about the 1st runner up and her reaction being rude, I had to come see it for myself. Wow, people exaggerate. She was clearly disappointed, but hardly rude or lacking sportsmanship.

The 2nd runner up should have been Top 2. At least then, I could possibly understand the 1st runner up not winning the crown. The actual winner is all kinds of ready for Rupaul's Drag Race. It's very clear why she flopped at Miss Universe.

I know it’s a disappointment to come up first runner up, but if she couldn’t or chose not to hide her shock and disgust at not winning, she didn’t deserve to win! That was horrible and I was embarrassed to see her react that way

I was there...she DID NOT deserve to win...did you see how the other girls went to console Arroyo @4:05...Many in the audience as well as some of the judges were shocked. Many thought it was because she was a brown(er) skinned Puerto Rican that she didn't win. But trust me when I say, many did not pick the winner. It should've been Arroyo!

Genesis should win the competition the country of Puerto Rico is Bias who can you have such as stunning girl and place her second. she can win the miss universe hand down right a way Mexico have the top contender touted by all the experts . genesis look fresh and fabulous desire needs to rethink her game plan

And to add to that...she was disappointed that she was called 1st runner up and that's why her expression was like that. When the cameras were off, many of the girls AND he judges went to speak with Miss Arroyo because they just like everyone else was shocked that she placed as runner-up. The winner was wisked away and only 4 girls congratulated her. I'm not sure how far she will make it in the Miss Universe Pageant but from where I was sitting, many were NOT impressed!

I totally agree with you there, I am very sorry to comment on this, but I think that this year's winner Miss Puerto Rico 2013 won't get very far this year either, Monica Perez and Bodine Koehler have a similar physical appearance in every way. and for that reason, I think that Miss Perez will fail to make it to the top 16 let along to the top 10.

Por favor, eso es para que Mayaguez y Cayey quedaran agarradas de manos, eran dos mujerones al lado de Arecibo y Arroyo. Era obvio que Miss Mayaguez no iba a llegar mas lejos con esa contestacion tan pesima a la pregunta, los nervios la traicionaron de mala manera. Pero de contestarla como debia, obtenia la corona.
