Not everyone is supposed to be a Shepard. Due to the narcissism we all possess, we like to think of ourselves as prominent leaders but the truth is we already have our High Priest, Jesus Christ. We must become less and He must become more in our lives.

I feel the same way. I was never in a leadership position but I’ve experienced enough to not want to be a part of one any time soon. I love the Lord and I serve Him as best as I can for now.

What an actor. What you went through? The hardest thing for this guy would be to go live a quiet life, work a real job and serve God by loving his family and stop making Christians a mockery.

I appreciate him not rushing back in when so many others have. Also, church isn't something you 'do' and that was part of his problem.

I am grateful for how seriously he is taking his healing. He knows his heart. I would just caution him that he will never be 100% clear of the risk of backsliding. Just be accountable and review a set of tenants often to stay on the straight and narrow.

What did he go through? He cheated? He gained wealth? He used up his staff? The stories out of Hillsong are crazy. But I hope the best for him. I hold the Lord grows him and his family does well.

When people say they've been through something when they had an affair and abused multiple people and that THEY need healing. Ya, you were never working for God of the bible. Your god is the one of this world, in all your designer clothes. Hope you find Jesus.

You don’t DO ministry or DO church. Either you’re called or ya ain’t. You took on something that you weren’t called to do because you treat it like a job and pastoring or ministry aren’t jobs. Seems like you just want a microphone and want to be noticed or recognized. That pride will cause you to be unqualified always
