Very good video. I have never used this method; just vapor recovery. Question, if you recovered the 23 lbs how do you know if oil is also recovered in the tank with the refrigerant; leaving the system low on oil. Thanks for the video.

They make a in line sub-cooler you drop in a bucket of ice for this problem, a lot more efficient

On the Tranes with the EXV such as the CGAs and RTACs you would need to manually open this valve with the display correct?

Not really necessary when you pushing it back into the system but okay. Because if you can get enough head pressure built on the suction suction line of the system there's a design flaw. Usually do push pull when you're evacuating a system and you using tanks to evacuate the system not push the gas back into the system

This only works with a functional compressor system. I'm in auto tech and 9/10 you're pumping down a failed compressor.
