I’m 16 now, but I remember when my mom used to watch her show...she used to cry every single time... and I didn’t understand the show because I was a kid and english is a second language... raised by a single mom who was abused and all... I am grateful for her existence. She empowered my mom, and now I push forward because of her too.

I worked as a waitress at 15 years old, back in 1980
I loved all my customers that
I fix their order just the way they loved it.
They gave me tips everyday and I saved it.
One day a customer said to me I'm starving, I said to him why are you starving, ??
I dont have money to buy food. I said to him if you dont have money, why are you coming here buying coffee and your starving?
He said I have money to buy the coffee from m recycled bottles.
Next day I bought his coffee, and groceries to last a month.
He said you don't have to do that .
I told him from all the years you came here and bought coffee the least I can do is buy you groceries.
Till this day, he remembers what I did for him years ago.
That is my legacy that I touched his life.,
