Hi today I share my current travelers notebook set up / travelers notebook wallet and. why I don't like the passport tn size as a wallet anymore. This set up is my everyday carry that holds my two daily inserts and everything I need to but more things lol.

The standard size is a blue travelers notebook and the passport size is from the 2022 limited edition records travelers notebook set.

If you find the passport size too small to comfortably write in but you need your notebook to BE that size for everyday carry reasons, turn it on its side to use it. That way you've got a portrait-format double-page (with the fold across the middle) which is NEARLY the size of A5! It works great with a plain, dot grid or grid notebook (not one with lines!).

I love the standard size too. I use my passport as a ink swatch book now for new fountain pen inks.

I love the standard size as well. My biggest thing about it is being able to fold a piece of paper in half and it fits it my planner. I make my own inserts as well and it is easy to make when it is just half sheet of paper.

Love how you decorated the cover of your standard size TN. I am more of the standard size TN person too because I have large handwriting so the passport size is just way too small for me and the standard size fits in all of my purses. I have a Hobonichi that I had cut down to standard size that I use for my planner/BUJO and a separate insert that I use for my journaling journey. It’s perfect for me. I use the monthlies for my finances/budgeting, weeklies to jot down the daily bible verses from the Bible app that I use, and the dailies are the BUJO portion to catch everything else in my life. I purchased the two standard size limited edition TNs but haven’t had the heart to use them yet but I wished they’d offered the Records one in this size. Thanks again for sharing!

I use my passport for weekly highlight and some light scribbling. I don't always take it with me when I'm out. I use my standard for daily journal.

I've been trying to figure out the best "clutch" design for when I go into the grocery store or a meeting and don't need my entire purse. It needs to hold my work notebook, wallet, business cards, pen, phone, and have a key loop. I recently realized making a TN for my B6 notebook & inserts to hold my extras is the perfect solution

I chose the standard TN as my wallet exactly bc I don't need to fold my notes and/or organize my coins! I do have the passport TN for longer rants and thoughts :)

I recently bought a Standard size & moved from my Passport size into that. I initially liked the compactness of the Passport but the inserts are too small to be practical for me & they fill up too quick. My Standard is a non-Traveler's Company one, same height but 2cm wider & the inserts from the same company are cheaper than the TC Passport inserts too so better value for money.

My passport size is holding my passport 😂 but when I travel, the stander size works better cause I can put my documents and tickets in order:)
But if I taking public transport, I usually carry small bag 👝 in this case, I’ll use passport size to hold the metro tap, setting it as a wallet. And maybe with one insert for taking notes 📝

I love the regular size and have a lot of covers, using them for travel journal, calendar, garden journal, stuff journal and paper storage. I have one passport size left because it’s so cute, but I don’t use it. It’s to small for me, I sold the other ones.😅

Also I’m the opposite of you. I love the passport size as a wallet. I’m also more likely to use it for journaling since it’s aways with me. I don’t use cash so that may be why. I’m actually going to start a new insert (the washable one) to start a plant journal. But I’m having trouble deciding if I will use the standard or passport size. I wanted to include care info about each plant I have and some dried flowers or bits of the plant.

I use the Passport more when I have a coat on as it fits the pocket perfectly, however now we finally have a bit of 🇬🇧 ☀️, I am not using it much at the moment. I journal all the time in the regular TN and although I bought the Airlines and Records sets, I already have buyers remorse and don’t use them enough at all. 🤷🏻‍♂️. I knew it, but still got them. 😂 Ah well…..

Regular size is perfect fir me. Passport size is too small for my taste as well. I never bought them. 😅
I really liked the forest green color combo here. My TN is not decorative as yours. Lol 🤣

I truly can’t stand the passport size. Pocket size is totally my jam. I have a standard sized TN that I use form my ukelele studies, but even that size wasn’t really for me. At least that standard size makes me stick with the pertinent info.
