GEARWRENCH 85078 Flex Head Electronic Torque Wrench with Angle Review

Показать описание
Torque to yield fasteners has really changed the torque wrench industry. Of course, the dawn of electronic torque wrenches has done the same. With the @GEARWRENCHTools 85078 Flex Head Electronic Torque Wrench with Angle, you get the best of both worlds and more. This 3/8" drive electronic torque wrench has a range from 10 to 100 ft-lbs, with a 2% accuracy in CW and 3% accuracy in CCW directions. Furthermore, a 1% accuracy rating in the Angle feature mitigates the chances of overtightening a fastener. GEARWRENCH includes a 1-year warranty as well.

I have the 3/8 Flex head but, it's a little bit different looking than your 3/8... it has the handle that's on the half-inch one..really like it...can't beat the accuracy and quality for price....

So what is the perfect accuracy torque wrench? 1% , 2% or 4%? Is 1% accuracy better overall than a 4%?

How do you get the screen to change from green to red, mine is just green and is the same part number as yours?

I just can’t seem to trust those digital angle readings. Idk why it just feels as if the actual angle of your arc doesn’t match up to the degrees on the screen. Maybe I just have trust issues

Hey I’m trying to buy a torque wrench and I’m looking for a wrench that’s good at torquing around the 10-18 ft-lb torque, any suggestions on a torque wrench? Trying to change my spark plugs

So why wouldn't you just torque to 95 flbs in the first place?... I'm not getting the concept yet...🤪
Why is it called angle?

If I buy this, where can I take it to get calibrated? There is no gearwrench tool truck that comes to my shop.

I prefer the metallic body version of these digital torque wrenches.

I'm throwing my .02 cents in on a tiny bit of information you put out there. In your video at the point of discussion on the flex head. The flexing is not for clearing obstacles or for user comfort. This for the accuracy of the function ONLY. If the user can't move the handle in that flex plain while under measurement then the accuracy is not correct because the user will be applying side force and there for changing the math or dynamics of the measurement. It is very easy to apply force in more than one direction at a time which changes the whole math of the measurement.... The feature is built in the tool because we are human and can make mistakes. Other that this point nice review you have shared. Enough information for both professional and hobbyist alike . Thank you for your time.

You never went over the 1/2 inch torque wrench, it was all about how to use them. If someone doesn’t know how to use a degree torque wrench they are already in trouble or too far beyond their skillset. And to do degrees, you were supposed to lay it down flat first. Just saying
