Is Scott talking about a friend or about God? That was the genius of Creeds lyrics. You could take them how you wanted. To me there was always a religious undertone to their lyrics that was very subtle. Amazing band.

These guys are so Badass! Love their sound and texture, always have. Most of the masses gave them shit because they were a "Christian rock" band. So what!! Aren't they supposed to make "A Joyful Noise Unto The Lord"?? I find they're sound completely joyful!! And now that I got my Dean Six String, I can play all those songs! Bitchin!!!
