Anyone remember the house parties?? I grew up in the hood where the “club” was at someone’s apartment in our building or someone else’s in the neighborhood. Most people you knew and some you didn’t. But the best moments were when you stood there leaning against the wall waiting that first slow jam so you can ask the girl you’ve been making eye contact with for the last hour to dance with you. I was always terrified of rejection! Good ol’ memories. Young artists should reintroduce more romance into their music and less over-sexualizing themes. I believe it creates the wrong perception as to how young people should interact with their prospective love interests. Not judging, just making an honest humble observation. Great mix, by the way. Loved it!
