It’s nice to see a bully breeder that actually has dogs that look like a bully, not these 160 lb cane corso, mastiff looking bullies. Cudos to you sir.

I've got a female 80lb American Bully that is an amazing dog. Nanny dog, family dog and amazing guard dog. The only issue l have ever had with her is separation anxiety which has gotten better with dog TV. I wouldn't trade my Bully for anything. My female Bully will let any child or woman approach but not a strange man. Bottom line is they act more like a human than a dog if they are trained well and treated like family.

I just got an 11 week old ABKC papered pocket bully and I can definitely say he’s a one man dog. I had to set very clear cut boundaries and structure for him so he learned to respect the rest of the household. Definitely a dominant dog. He is also weary of strangers and has a preference to females in general. I would consider them to be highly territorial by nature. Mine would definitely like to resource guard if I let him. I would not recommend this breed for a first time dog owner unless you love structure and don’t mind a dog challenging you or testing you. All that said I love this dog and he’s perfect for me. I take him everywhere with me almost everyday. I can’t recommend socializing enough. He’s 14 weeks now and is way more confident, friendlier and outgoing. It’s very important to bond with your dog so they feel safe with you. When they trust you then they are typically more obedient and will follow suit. I hope this was helpful info. Every dog is different and personality can very. Just speaking from my own experience in owning and training not only this breed but other bully breeds as well as Rottweilers.

My girl has chosen me as her person but loves the entire family. She checks on all the kids when they’re asleep. She definitely tried to dominate, but once I showed my place in authority she submitted. She follows me everywhere and her tail can be used as weapon. 😂😂

Our female Rogue definitely has a favorite family member. She’s chosen my wife as “her person”. And our male 2Face enjoys everyone in the family pretty equally, unless there’s food involved 😂

Man thank you so much, I just got my first bully, I wanted a female but you made me feel like I made the right decision. I had pick of any dog, so I couldn't pass up the pick of the litter. He was so much bigger he didn't even look like he belonged. Do you think that will make a difference later on? I've had pits before and WOW I am so impressed with his intelligence, he is 6 weeks and already has learned not to play bite, I'm getting a little older and those needle teeth tear my skin, he will not put his mouth on me, just licks. Plus I always keep a chew bone in my pocket so if wants to play a little rough I can always break out the bone. He absolutely has to have chew toys. Sorry for long comment, I just love this freaking dog!!!

I’ve been around dogs all my life and the American bully by far is the best breed I’ve had. I’m never going to have a different breed

This is so great of you to inform the public about the breed. We need more of this for all owners or potential owners. 😊

I work at a dog daycare. We have a beautiful bully named Gibee. He is the sweetest thing and gets along with other dogs very well. He definitely loves to please (he knows he gets pets and kisses!) But he will definitely protect the "pack" as in me and coworkers when a stranger that doesn't seem to be in their right mind. I truly love this breed and I believe with the right owner and training they make wonderful pets.

Raul... This video is fantastic and is one of the best breakdowns I have ever watched or read. A ten-minute video that helps define what the American Bully is all about will do so much for those looking for information or for those who struggle to define the breed when asked by friends or family.

Believe me, I have so many people who stop me on my walks to ask about my current dogs and previous dogs and what characteristics the breed has. I am going to save this video and share it with anyone who is interested in the breed but ends up sitting on the fence when it comes to deciding to get one or not.

I have played this video three times while typing this comment.

Thank you Sir and please keep it going 🔥

My female is 8 months and she's so calm all the time. Takes naps throughout the day and sleeps all night. Plays with all the other dogs very well and delicate. But when her cousin comes to visit. They play very rough, tackle each other, roll all over the concrete and rocks. Nothing aggressive tho. I have an acre of land so they run all over the place. When is time to eat they share the same plate of food. But when it comes to water they will both drink but with mine is done she'll tip over the plate so no one drinks more water 😬.

I have a 16 week old xl bully. Wonderful thing, he is. I've got experience with bully breeds but it's been a while since my last one so I looked into getting a "pro" in for a few catch up training 121 lessons. The person I contacted said I shouldn't socialise him when he's this young because I want him to see ME as the center of his world... I didn't call her back. Imagine holding back early socialisation?! I don't want a dog with separation anxiety/fear of other dogs/people/situations when he's bigger. We live a very active and social lifestyle. Keeping him apart from that during his formative months is a no go for me.

He's doing absolutely wonderfully without that advice. He loves meeting new people, he's gentle and friendly with all dogs, he's not scared of any sudden loud noises when we're out and about. He's truly and quickly turning into the best behaved dog I've ever had already.

I literally started looking into American bullies once I heard they were called nanny dogs. Best decision I’ve ever made

Hit the nail on the head. I just got a female bully and she thinks shes in charge already. Everything he said about females in some way related to her and how she behaves. I need to do better then im doing because this breed is something else.

My 2yr old female classic bully challenged my adopted 1yr old male xl from the get go but he was so obsessed with her its like he enjoyed the challenge and submitted to her. Once he settled in home he reminded her how little she is to him when she started her ish (they had a domestic) then she decided to calm down. They now sleep next each other and play but I refuse to walk them together as he is overly possessive of her, its like they married.😂He really loves her.

Very useful video thank you. We just adopted a 15 week old lilac merle boy from a rescue centre in England two days ago (no fault of his). We thought he was an American Staffy but now I am certain he is an XL Bully. He is already the same size as our full grown English Bull Terrier girl. He has an incredibly docile temperament and appears to be a very fast learner. Full of love for everyone although our EBT is hounding him a bit too much and they have had to "work it out" a few times. But they are getting on together way better than I thought they would due to his incredible tolerance of her.

I have an XL bully his name is Louie. He’s a tri color. He’s about 2.5 years old and weighs around 140-150 pounds. He’s a giant baby. Absolutely loves the little kids in my family and is so welcoming to new people coming in the home. HOWEVER, when we are out in public he’s still friendly to humans especially but he does not like other animals. Typically he’s fine with smaller dogs but once he finds someone close to his size he gets assertive. Thankfully he’s good on the leash and I can always control him. We have a little yorkie at home who is a female and that’s his mini best friend. We live out in the country so he’s used to chasing deer and other wild animals around the farm. Overall I couldn’t be more pleased with him. He’s the perfect dog for the home. Looks wise I don’t see anyone coming to break in and challenge him. So that alone is a huge deterrent. Love this channel!!
