Oh! I have a SmoothSkin Gold and I followed the directions for three months back in 2016 and to this day I barely ever have to shave legs and under arms. This is a really great device!

Just got mine and used it for the first time today on my neck (where the baby hairs usually grow) and face! 🎉
I was scared it might hurt, so I put it on the gentle setting. It just felt hot, no pain at all.

My arms did feel a little pain (like a quick pinch) plus the heat, on gentle mode. My arms are pale from being covered all winter and my arm hair is dark.

My bikini area hurt even more than my arms. It felt like I was getting shocked and the device felt hotter, even on gentle mode. The hair in that area is more coarse and darker than everywhere else, so that's why.
