Bro? Lenin never wanted Stalin as his henchman. Stalin was a power hungry man, who was his secretary, he used very careful and strategic manoeuvres to gain support for himself. Lenin tried to warn his team not to let Stalin take over but Stalin was the secretary therefore he couldn’t do anything about that.

How can peterson be this ignorant? Stalin as well as Bukharin, Kameniev, Zenoviev, and Trotski were all prominent members of the politbeuro that had massive influence which restricted Lenin's authority. Stalin was no "henchman" he in fact had many disputes with Lenin on many occasions and sometimes seemed to be flat out enemies. Near the end of Lenins life he denounced Stalin as a capricious brute chauvinist.

It amazes me how these so called "intellectuals" the right prop up are such misinformed pundits for the ruling class.
