Personally, I feel like this story poses a pretty interesting philosophical concept. Malloy was to mutants as mutants are to regular humans. He was just so much more than they were that from his discovery he was assumed to be a threat and so he was suppressed. There's a reason that learning of the Professors response to Malloy gave everyone unpleasant feelings. He effectively did to a fellow mutant what all humans have been trying to do to mutants, and how do all of the other mutants end up feeling about Malloy? He become automatically assumed to be a threat again even when he reaches out to him for help. All it would have taken is for one person to try teach Malloy, then he could have mastered his powers and effectively fixed everything he broke, but nobody was willing to take that chance when he could just as easily destroy everything they know and love.

He was so feared by mutants that they erased him from existence without them ever trying to listen to him. Sounds a lot like what humans have been trying to do time and time again.

Mathew Malloy: "I'm the most powerful mutant in Marvel!"
The Marquis of Death: "Hold my beer."

But if Mathew never existed then no one would have gone back in time to stop him, and if no one stopped him he would of kept on existing...
Paradoxes are fun.

"We got this new character, most powerful being in the universe-...no, in _all_ universes!"

"Cool! How does he manifest his powers at first? Accidentally sets gravity at a 10 degree slant in his hometown? He becomes unintelligible because he's actually experiencing all possible conversation paths at once? The stars shift anytime he gets wanderlust because he accidentally moves the solar system between galaxies and realities?"

"His explosions are the biggest!"

"...[silent stare]..."

"His weakness is making clothes."

Sad that people forget about Squiril Girl when they talk about powerful mutants.

"Well, Call Matt Murdock."
"Why?"
"Because he's the only other lawyer I have ever heard of!"

ahhh, comics.

"He has the power to warp reality."

Please, at this point, I feel that it's easier to name characters that CAN'T warp reality. Same problem with Legendary Pokemon. You add too many, and they become no longer impressive.

Wooo, he can warp reality....and so can about a thousand other characters in this universe. At this point, it's best to just assume that every character you mention can warp reality in some way somehow, and just explain how these reality-warping powers specifically are so much different.

"Actually his last wish was probably like--Scott Summers, I wish you weren't killing me right now"
I almost died there... XD

I call bullshit! If Tempest was able to go that far back, she couldve stopped Xavier from being killed in the first place.

it would have been cooler if he was erased from being born and then at the end you see him ripping through time saying "nice try" or something like that.

Xavier is a villain that's been hiding in plain sight and has been watering down any mutants stronger than him this whole time.

I pity Matt tho'. He was just lost, he didn't want any of the powers he possesses. I just wanna live a normal life.

why is it, jean grey destroys an entire INHABITED solar system and is instantly forgiven.but cyclops lashes out killing a manipulative bastard and he is a pariah now and forever?

So what stops Tempest from going back in time every time there's a new villain to defeat? Can't she stop any villain from existing just by going back in time?

Eventually Storm is just going to have 1 hair that's like 20 feet long.

Time travel is not the fault here just comic book writers to scared to kill off popular characters.
