Talking Cameras: Fujifilm X-Summit + Fujikina 2022 NYC ep01

Last year at Fujifilm X Summit 2022 NYC I decided to shoot a series called 'Talking Cameras'. I asked various photographers at the X Summit and Fujikina events what was their favourite Fujifilm camera, lens, and film simulation. If you watch this video, you'll probably see some familiar faces from Youtube. We interviewed 15 people and had over an hour of footage, so there was no way we could feature everyone in this short 10-minute video. We also had an audio crash and lost most of our audio recordings, so we had to rely on the on-board audio. Sorry about that.

Thanks to Julian Fok for coming down with me and helping me on this project. Go check out his Youtube channel @JulianFok for additional footage, although he said his video won't be up until next week. Fantastic video!

Time flies! It was such a pleasure meeting you at the Fujikina last year! I was so overwhelmed of meeting you and other awesome photographers I forgot to take a selfie XD

My Favorite camera has to be X100V, the one that brought me to Fujifilm. But my favorite lens is the 16mm f/1.4 that I use on my X-T4. Favorite film sim is the same right answer, Classic Chrome :D

Great video. Loved it. My favourite camera is the X T2 and my favourite travel lens is the 18-135, and favourite landscape lens is 10-24. Favourite zoom lens is the 70-300

Favorite camera must be the X-E2s. I also have the X-T3 and the X-E3, but The size of the X-E2s and the tiny little flash that can be bounced… I really miss that in the X-E3. Favorite SIM… Hmmm. Astia or Classic Chrome. Favorite lens. Hard one. I love them all (obviously the ones I own) except the original 56mm. The most used though is the 35 both 1.4 and f/2 and the 18-55 and 16-80. My ideal new camera would be a XPro4 with the XTrans4 sensor, the 5 gen processor, the flash from the X-E1-2, IBIS, and the Tilt screen from X-T3 😬

X-T1 (I liked the 16mp sensor) XF-35mm 1.4 and Provia. But I shoot with the X-Pro2 today. It’s my only Fujifilm camera. (And the X70) 😊

X-Pro1 & XF35mm1.4 I haven't used any legacy Fuji, but always kick myself for not buying the Voigtlaender-collab giant rangefinder from about ten years ago.
