Really great Design. Much improved. I wonder if BMW can achieve real world range of 270 miles in iX1. If 270 is accurate I could go for a test drive to consider as EV !!

I love you BMW and I understand this is a brand new 1 series but please, you don't need to add "new" in pretty much every 2nd or 3rd sentence.
edit: thank you for offering 22 kW as an option! The iX1 (depending on local prices in Sweden) will make it a top contender for my next car!

as an i3S owner however, I will miss the gear selector being near the steering wheel, it's so much easier switching from Reversing to Drive.

1) the ix1, is the base battery at 800 volts?
2) prices?
3) availability
4) the hybrids like the Pius, the carbon engine can regenerate the battery + is it plugable?

It is mentioned that the standard seats are "6 way electric adjusted". But is this correct? I am quite sure they are manual. (I went to have a look at the car today, and the seats in the showed cars were definately manual)

I love it but I really think this should have gone on the X3 instead of the X1. The X1 models should have last years X3 redesign.

BMW X1 owner here... I'm sorry to say I don't like this new lineup at all. The redesign is OK, but the headlight lost the soul of BMW, looks more like Volkwagen and Audi. the interior design is cool however the new infortament system looks out dated and hard to work with. I think my next vehicle will be the new Mercedes GLC. It looks better and more practical.
