recipe for the raspberry jam bars

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butter softened, or vegan butter
1 large egg or flax egg
1 cup oats

filling:
3/4 cup raspberry jam

chop the pecans until they are small chunks. mix all the dough ingredients together except the oats. Take a little more than half of the dough and place it into a 9x9 baking pan, pat it down. pour the jam on top. add the oats to the remaining dough and mix it until well combined. sprinkle the topping over the jam and bake for 45 minutes at 350

my mother made her wedding dress out of my fathers parachute after WW II. It was made of nylon and that was the new up and coming fabric back then! Thanks for your enthusiasum

So I was on my way to the university on a bus and decided to watch a random video to entertain myself and I stumbled upon your video once again, so I felt like I had to say this. Your stories were such a big part of my life during Covid and my teenager years, I used to wait for new videos with such enthusiasm and it’s crazy that I’ve seen 64 or more chapters of your life. Back then I was immature and thought that once I was a legal adult I could move away, live my life to the fullest and that things would go my way. I’ve seen you build that cabin from scratch and I’ve witnessed your enthusiasm during the process and happiness you felt after finishing it, heck even I felt so fulfilled that I cried very hard, with happy tears ofc😊 I used to watch your every adventure of living in the mountains and connecting with nature; it was my motivation to live of grid and be one with nature just like you; but unfortunately I became an entrant and studying took so much of my time that I couldn’t watch your videos and now I’m finally a student. Oddly enough I randomly came across your video today after so many years. It is so crazy that I’ve know you for years through your content, yet you have no idea of my existence and now that I watched this amazing chapter and learned that you are to be married I feel so fulfilled. I live on a completely different continent and you don’t even know of my existence but here I am crying over a “complete stranger” I’ve come to know and appreciate you over years; you are such an amazing person, so kind, down-to-earth and diligent; you made me fall in love with your personality all over again. I am so happy that you are getting married and living life to the fullest. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with us, they were such a big part of my life and still are. I remember when I found your channel you were still doing the numbered stories; I think you were somewhere in the 40s or 50s. I went back and watched all of the preceding videos as well, and I remember you speaking a bit on loneliness and not being sure when you would find your person.
