Conjugation and Usage of the Verb: Avere (To Have)

Conjugating verbs can be difficult for English-speakers because English doesn't really do it. But in most other languages, this is part of the grammatical structure, so we have to learn! Let's start with an irregular one, "avere". It means "to have", which is a very common thing that one will say, so that's why we will start with this one!

Ho torto it's a real thing? some italian speaker can tell me this? because in spanish for example you never say ( Avere: "wrong") in that case you use To-Be wrong. "Estoy Equivocado" y se traduce a "mi sbaglio" could somebody give me an example of when you use "Ho Torto"

Umm H is aspirated in avere. It's not silent. Like rolled Rs, this is a clear sign of non-native speakers.
For the purposes of learning, you can definitely just say it's silent and move on as the difference is very faint, but a native will tell the difference. With pronunciation (IPA) key "ho": /ɔ/ and "o": /o/. Plug these into an IPA key reader and you can tell the difference.
