Fun anecdote: Elmer's Pet Rabbit combines this tune with Love Me, and the World Is Mine, shifting toward that tune while Bugs confides with the audience ("He saves my life. And after all the things I've done to him in this picture") and as Bugs tells Elmer to kick him in the rear. I had to listen to a recording of Love Me, and the World Is Mine in order to conclude when Old Pal ends and Love Me begins
