Buddhism is a religion built on the theory of cause and effect. It is a religion based not on divinity but on nature. It has never been said that life was created by God. If there's not any creator god then why do we have to believe in god, we believe in nature. Nature is what we are. Buddhism is not silence the face of theory about god, it told us to believe in god with an exact reason. Other wise you don't have to believe.

Zakir Naik shouldn't guess why Buddha said or didn't say. Buddha gave a technique to meditate and he said if you continue on that path, you will know the truth. He didn't describe the truth because then his followers will blindly follow him like other religions. Truth through experience is what Buddha taught which is opposite to all other religions which are faith based.
