How to Practice English Every Day (No Partner Needed!)

It doesn't matter who you are or where you live. You can practice English (or any language) every day. This video gives you an easy-to-follow plan that you can use to make practicing English a part of your daily routine so that you can practice English every day. I give you simple ideas for how to practice speaking every day even if you don't have anyone to practice speaking with.

I'm Teacher Mike, and I'm an English (ESL/EFL) teacher from the United States.

My house is not on fire, so I speak to the mirror after getting up and after going to bed. I can say that it really works. An American came to buy some goods in my store a few weeks ago, and he understood me well. He even said "Wow, your English is great" and I replied to him "I have the best English teacher in the world." He just smile at me. His name was Tom who was kind with me.

My motivation and speaking buddy was my son)) I decided to teach him English when he was 6 month, I had to speak to him every day, read aloud books to him every day and learn new vocabulary every single day, watched cartoons and movies…That was super productive! 😊 And now he is 8 and he can speak both languages, English and his mother tongue)) And my language improved drastically)) Just killed 2 birds with 1 stone))

Plan from this video:
1 You need to download English to English dictionary. In this app you can find meanings of the words in English (not just translating into your native language). It`s best to read english definitions.

2 You should also have two notebooks. In the first notebook you write all the new english words that you don`t know. The second is for just practicing English. You can do this on your phone.
3 Morning practice. Step 1. When you wake up you need to talk with yourself forward the mirror. Ask yourself several questions. If you don`t know what words you need to use, It means that you need to find them and learn with your dictionary. Repeat these words some times for better memorization. Step 2. Find a short video (3-5 min) for english learners and write down new words and expressions. If you don`t know how to spell a word try to do this. Then google it and write down in your dictionary.
4 Find from 10 to 30 minutes to something in english. It needs to be what you interested in. You also need to write down new words.
It will be better if you say it out loud. You should understand about 75% of context. You can record your voice and listen to this, so you can find any mistakes in pronounciation. If you don`t know how to pronounce the word you can check it by googling something like: "ocean" pronunciation.
5 If you have more time - practice to create sentences with new words. You also need to review your resources again (when you`ve already known the word).
6 Practice at speaking :)
