The fans have to work together.
If u pull out some fans, the rest of the fans has to work harder.

Thats why i think server racks should have a larger height standard, because 120mm fans would be so much quieter, less power consuming and probably more powerful. Manufacturers like delta could also create 100 mm fans made specially for servers, because they wouldn't be too tall and instead of searching "80mm server fan" and getting a lot of consumer hardware you could just search "100mm fans" and would instantly get server fans recommended, because 100mm fans would only be used in server and stuff. Wouldn't that be something?
