This is the best book series ever. I literally cried so damn hard. My friend told me that the end was sad but god damn I did not see it coming.

I cried so hard at the end and I was so frustrated in a good way. I loved this trilogy so much and to this day it is my favourite. I want to go back and read it again just to go through the emotional journey again.

I'm so glad you enjoyed these books. They are soo good, completely agree with you -- they are some of my most favorite books too. I really need to reread this series so I can get some more of the symbolism and just relive the amazing (and very painful) journey.

Great review, thanks. Reread this series after reading it years ago and had very little memory of it; was surprised to find the incredibly complex and often disturbing relationship between Todd and the Mayor quite touching and compelling in this book, as well as appreciating the Spackle storyline and the character of the Sky much more this time as well. And Viola and Todd are always so moving, and the heart of the story, though I could have done with a little more development of their relationship in this book.
