#MountSinaiSouthNassau staff members packed the hospital’s conference center for its annual #NationalNursesWeek kickoff breakfast and awards ceremony to recognize, honor, and thank the members of the hospital’s nursing staff for its tradition of excellence in the delivery of standard-setting compassionate patient care. We also recognized nurse staff members who recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher degree. Happy Nurses Day to all of the Mount Sinai South Nassau nurses who create excellence together!

I am utterly amazed and pleasantly surprised by the incredible improvements at South Nassau Hospital. I never imagined I would witness such high standards of morals and care in action. The nurse who cared for us was exceptionally thoughtful and compassionate while maintaining utmost professionalism. Observing the staff handle difficult patients with such grace and patience left a lasting impression on me. Thank you for providing outstanding care for my mother in the E.R.
