David Gilmour is one of the greatest guitarists in Rock and also one of the most underrated. Even after all these years "Comfortably Numb" gives me chills...

So much rock history in the form of guitars. What a great collection! So glad you documented this Christie‘s auction. The Gretsch Penguin is gorgeous! Jah is such an eye talker. In 2006 I won tickets to see David Gilmour at our Massey Hall (in Toronto) from the second row and I am sure hubby and I must have seen one if not more of these guitars during the show. To see these up close would be amazing, to think some of these belted out 'Wish you were here' or 'Comfortably Numb' .. some of the most perfect music of all time. Thank you for this vlog, really makes one appreciate even more what an amazing guitarist David Gilmour is.

For anyone too young to be familiar with the unique music of Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon is a classic. Jordan learned at a young age to appreciate really creative rock.

What a great guitar collection, I can't believe he is selling them all ! Thanks for letting get a glimpse of these history making instruments Jordan. I have to say the best sounding guitar I have heard was a Martin custom my best friend found in a pawn shop on Austin Texas in the 1980s. He had a big collection of all types, shapes & sizes, but that $150.oo Martin had a life of it's own. It was willed to his nephew at his passing 3 years ago. RIP Sweet JDS ! I was able to hear the young man play it over the phone & it had me in tears at the shear beauty of the sound, a great tribute to his beloved Uncle, that the guitar still sings !
