Richard Parry, HP's Director of Product Management, shows off the new HP line of consumer tablets. The HP Slate 7 HD has a 7 inch 1280x800 display, 3G and Wi-Fi capability, and comes with HP Connected services. The Hp Slate 10 HD has a 10 inch 1280x800 display, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity including a 200MB/month plan from T-Mobile. The Slate 8 Pro has a 7.9 inch 1200x1600 display in a 4:3 aspect ratio, and is being targeted for media and productivity users. It has an Nvidia Tegra 4 processor as well, along with a micro-HDMI port for exporting content to televisions. The HP Omni 10 is an Intel Bay Trail powered tablet that comes with Windows 8.1, a 1920x1200 display and is always connected for web use. The Slate 7 Extreme has a stylus that autodetects use and has active palm rejection to prevent accidental palm contact. It also packs specialized software tied to the stylus for bookmarking and emails

looks like HP has actually treated the tablet market to some relevant products, unlike the original hp slate

usually HP products have greater accesability and are available in places that the nexus products don't usually reach until very late. e.g middle east
