Is Mavuika Too Modern For Genshin Impact?

Mavuika drip marketing has finally been released, but many players dislike her because she uses a motorcycle. Fans are confused and find it illogical since motorcycles in Genshin are considered too modern compared to the aesthetic of Teyvat's technology. In Honkai Impact 3rd, Himeko once used a motorcycle, but no one complained because its aesthetic matched the world of that game. So, the core issue lies in the civilization’s setting. Genshin is a fantasy game, so the developers have the freedom to incorporate any elements into it.

To be fair, different countries have different advancements. Like how Fontaine had all this new technology and stuff and they invented the Kamera I think. Ah yea, like wakanda, but you forgot 1 thing - wakanda is fully tecnological country, when in natlan only playable characters have this modern stuff, when other 99% natlan population still fighting with swords and sticks.

The issue with her motorcycle and overall aesthetic is not only that it's contrary to fantasy-grounded constructs in the game (Clockwork Mekas, Sentry mobs in the Sumeru desert, and Ruin Machines from Khaenri'ah), but that it's an insult to her epithet and ideal of being an Archon that represents the concept of War. I'd expect ground-breaking combat warmonger skill and burst that decimates enemies bare-handed or with her claymore, not her using motorcycle like ZZZ Sons of Calydon ripoffs.

i would've liked it more if the motorcycle was something she made with her pyro ngosis/vision, would've been a little more believable. But maybe the origin of this is just like Xilonen's skates, Xilonen created her own skates using phlogiston and the motorbike could be the same.

For me, its not the fact that its a motorcycle that bothers me, its the fact that it looks SO MODERN that does.

One of the problem lies is that Fontaine is supposed to be the most technologically advance region. When you have a whole modern looking motorcycle, it obviously doesn’t fit into natlan and the point that fontaine is very advance. You can argue that Fontaine and Khanrieah has very advance robots but by their looks you know it’s fantasy like which fits into genshin fantasy like game. They’re also very technological advance things in the lore too but you know the line draws on how you can tell it’s a fantasy thing. Imo they could’ve done smth that does look like a motorcycle but obviously looks fantasy like.
