For most people these statistics are scary and signs of more pain to come. Layoffs are never a good thing for both sides. The people who are laid off for obvious reasons often deal with shock, fear, and disbelief. Wondering what happened and where they go from here. For those that stay, there is this feeling of survivor guilt because you still have a job and the typical fallout of a smaller workforce trying to accomplish the same goals. Not saying one if better than the other, but it isn’t easy for anyone.
