We lost a twin at 13 weeks. We never said anything to our oldest. But when she was almost 8 she said she felt someone was missing. We asked what she meant. She said she felt part of her was missing. Then we told her about the loss. She said even at 18 she still feels a presence with her!!!

I would be interested to see this as an experiment with control groups and maybe 5 sets of twins. With more variety of cards too, I don't think 5 is enough. If all the groups did the test 3 times it would give more reliable results. Be interesting to see what would happen

Okay, this is going to be really dark, so TW. But I went to school with identical twin brothers. One brother got into a fiery car crash and died--apparently the other brother knew immediately that something was wrong (he was in bed at home.) I didn't ask too many questions, because the whole ordeal was scary to talk about, so I don't know if he felt the pain, etc. But he knew.
