Introduction To Puppet | Installation | Part 1 | Eduonix

Puppet is one of the most advanced Configuration management tools in DevOps. It is essentially a language which describes how to get the machines in desired states, very similar to Ansible and Vagrant. However, it's used to configure much more complex environments. For someone, who manages the infrastructure of an organization, the puppet is a blessing, because it automates all the repetitive tasks like deploying changes, fighting fires, etc. It provides a lot of free time to learn how to solve new problems, automate pain points, moving existing micro-services to the cloud, etc.

In this new series, we are going to learn all about Puppet and how it works. We shall start by learning how to install Puppet and we will also create a GIT Puppet Master. Let's get started!
