Thank you very much for the updates and explanation.

I am just wondering if the word counts matter is fully working.

What are the main points of this Google core update?

Are there any plans to include hreflang in the newer version of Search Console? Even with a correct configuration there's no guarantee Google will pick up on your hreflang, the old report was always useful for validating that Google had picked up on your tags.

Hi, I see that many people have indexing issues as I do. Can I know when it's going to be fixed? I am not sure if Google doesn't like my site or Google have some indexing issues. You guys need to care a bit more about the data you share with webmasters.

We hope this new ecommerce schema shows better priced sites rather than behemoths always. If they are always glued to top, what is the purpose of e-commerce SEO schema?

1:33 "In August we launched a series of improvements [...]. We call it the *helpful content update.* "
I wish I knew that before.
In desperation, I made a mess in the website trying to understand what was going on with the traffic ... :-( 😞😪

Thank you John for your explanations. I have a question if i may: I wonder if this new way of searching include also a thematic interface based on images of human activities, such as Sport, Culinary, Trading, Moving, Entertainment, Event and more ?
Thank you for reading all the messages, it’s very rare that someone takes his time for it.
Thank you 🙏

Love the Energy John you have in the videos.

One question, does Google HR Managers hire from Pakistan directly?

Great videos! Love that these and the podcasts are happening.

Unfortunately we lost 10% of traffic post September core update with a large publishing and editorial team dedicated to writing for humans.

Would love to hear in a future video more elaboration on helpful content and what it means to be 'sticking in your lane'.

For example, we compare products from YMYL categories (insurance, loans) and non YMYL (shopping, travel) and we don't always use folder structures to distinguish the different niches. We're unclear if this approach is harming us.

On the search console, it would be very, very, very helpful to show sitemaps as "pending" or something similar instead of "couldn't fetch" for sitemaps that are just waiting to be read by Google. The message led me (and probably many others) to think that my sitemaps have issues and I ended up wasting a lot of time troubleshooting an issue that didn't exist in the first place. Other than that, the new search console is excellent and pretty easy to use.
