Loved this. Thank you. My mom lost her mom while she was attending nursing school at Queen of Angels in L.A. ..while engaged to my dad. She told me the day her mom died she went in the chapel on the grounds and looked up at Mary's statue and said that Mother Mary would now be her mother. I had MY mom till last year...59 years old I was. So I can't even imagine how my mom handled it so well. And how impactful. I know how lucky I was. But I always remember her telling me that . Keep praying that Bishop Sheen's beatification finally comes to pass. Father Andrew Apostoli worked SO hard for that...as did Benedict Groeschel...the delay seems ridiculous at this point and now I'm thinking it's not the baseless accusations but perhaps the Vatican. In any case ..he was a true master at teaching and descriptions .

There is no perfect mother except Mary Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Thank you Anthony. I wonder what Bishop Sheen would have to say to Francis today? Can you picture him in his vestments and cope and dramatic oratory, giving a resounding rebuke? It strikes me that this precious saint of God was on the beginnings of Television without any censure. Many of all faiths watched, listened and learned from him beginning in 1952 (year I was born) to 1968. Thank you Lord for giving us such giants from which we can still glean truth and courage for the times to come. In Mother Mary, we have the most beautiful of all mothers who will not ever cease her intercession for us. Now, Anthony, please get some rest!!! We need you in the battle leading the charge. Rest! Hydration! Manuka Honey! Vitamin C!

Thank you so much Anthony for giving us our blessed Reverend Fulton Sheen . He needs to be canonized. I know the Vatican is holding that specially the pope and all the people in the Vatican. He was an amazing speaker, and very clear in his thoughts and head of our time of what was going in our beloved country, as well as the world one-of-a-kind. bishop pray for us🙏⛪️ And our church and our Roman Catholic faith amen

When I listen to Blessed Archbishop Sheen, I am filled with awe at the thoughts which he expresses. I think he used to spend at least an hour before our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament, and to me, it shows. For the depth of thought seems like it must be an infused knowledge received at the feet of Our Lord, in the most holy sacrament of the altar. Inspiring!! Thank you Anthony!
