God the Son Revealed in the Temple - John 2:13-25

In John chapter 2, verses 13-25 we see how Jesus shows up in the temple, driving out the moneychangers and sellers of sacrificial animals. He also speaks of the new temple and its destiny.

Hi. Good work, I like the bits about morally cleansing ourselves. However we need to consider the logistics. With more than 100, 000 people visiting what we'd call today "a small town" over just a few days, what other public facilities did Jerusalem have that could meet Judaism's needs? None! They must have slept in tents all around, no town has enough spare accommodation for a quadrupling of population. Jesus was born in a stable because there wasn't enough room in Jerusalem. At all levels, temple included, it must have been a complete shambles. Supplying water must have been the biggest headache, along with dealing with sewage without "Portaloos".

Christians can be sure that if Jesus had been in charge these prosaic but real problems would have been miraculously solved. Cheers, P.R.
