I think it’s great for you to explain what they told you not to explain. Agreed, the camera bump could have been flush. Their Inknote X tablet’s camera was flush, which was an incredible source of comfort for tablet users.

Cool phone. I like when manufacturers do a camera bump bc it encourages people to get a case which reduces unnecessary damaged e-waste.

Although E-ink still need to significantly improve e-ink color dispays closer to their Spectra 6 ones, I really think that one key missing hardware part in most e-ink devices is Qi2 wireless charging : the possibility to magnetically « stick » a color E-ink smartphone / tablet to any Qi2 wireless charger to charge it would open so many new use cases and market opportunities a la Google Pixel Tab, or iPhone « Sleep mode », or Joan e-ink display from Visionect…
