For a snake that large he can move quite fast..

*That’s terrifying.*

It's no surprise that the python doesn't mess with the cameraman. *It respects the cameraman's immortality*

Just imagine prehistoric times where there were snakes even bigger than that slithering around. What a world

This python tells us a message that never underestimate its speed

Yay I thought bigger snakes means slower speed and the way that snake moves it can strike you in seconds

Never underestimate a snake by it's size I'm telling you these things don't make to that size for no reason they are quick

The Florida man is looking for this 20 footer to yoink it

Surprising how one would think such a huge snake would be slow and clumsy, until it actually starts moving. And scary, considering that even if a person is not usually it's prey, such a powerful python could easily overpower even an adult if it wanted too. Those things are 100 pounds of solid muscle.

That is definitely the biggest south African rock python I've ever seen. That is a dangerous snake if you have no experience in large pythons this one no one should never get near!

Here i was thinking if it was me i would've gone and touched the tail... Had no idea a snake that size can turn around that fast and move with that speed 🤯

The fact this snake is out in the open outside it's comfort zone tells me it's not afraid of humans and will strike if it wants especially if it's hungry. That's solid muscle ladies and gentlemen, and it's moving pretty quick for such a monster of a snake.

Had three pet pythons back in college, the largest one was almost 6 feet and was insanely strong. When you hold a python, you realise that they are nothing but muscles under that scaly skin. I cannot even image how strong something like this would be, it's easily over 20 feet.

First 20 seconds, it looks like a huge elephant. Intimidating and magnificent. Last 20 seconds, it moves like a leopard at the same time. That's way too scary!

I’ve never seen a snake that large in a completely open field with no cover like trees, bushes, leaves, foliage etc

EDIT: I’ve read comments saying along the lines of “it has no reason to hide” or “it isn’t worried about being out in the open and exposed to predators it’s to large”…..that’s not what I meant….a snake that large would never be able to catch it’s prey items being in an open field like that, it’s huge and any animal that even got close would see it and run. That’s why huge snakes like that typically are hiding around trees, bushes, leaves and foliage…it provides camouflage and they can ambush their prey.

I'm baffled at the amount of people thinking big snakes should be "slow"... Yes they may be extremely heavy, but please do not ever forget their body almost solely exists out of pure muscles. BIG ones at that.
