Poros - Videos from Greece

A small island of the Saronic Gulf, Poros is a relaxing place for family vacations. As it is only an hour ferry ride from Athens, Poros island is a popular weekend destination in summer. The Town, constructed on the slopes of a hill, is the center of most activities on the island. The most tourist place is Askeli, a sandy beach with clean water and lined up with many tourist facilities.

I love Greece and I was a frequent visitor who always stayed at hotels in Greece, at least 60 days each year. But I will not visit Greece until the documents about Covid, and all the questions about vaccines and also all restrictions will be removed. See you in 1 year! Or 10 years? It's up to you, dear Greeks! The very best of the bests!

I've been to about 20 Greek islands since 1973. Poros has always held a special place in my heart & I've been back many many times because it's so close & quick to get to. Was always in my Top 5. . I wonder what you would all think of it now with the whole waterfront lined with yachts. As from this year, 2021, it's sadly looking more like St Tropez.

I normally love videos of Greece but I'm afraid I found this one boring and repetitive. The background music is pretty awful too. Which is a shame because Poros is among my favourite Greek destinations. This doesn't represent the Poros I know. My Poros is a fabulous place full of beauty and fun and home to some of the very best Greek music.
