Most games are typically cheaper in Japan but sometimes you can find rare and expensive ones there as well. Not counting brand new games of course. What I mean by that are the recently released ones, I wanted to make sure there was no confusion. Nice to see physical media doing just fine in Japan. It’s why I’ve always wanted a Japanese game in my possession when I was a kid unlike what I have now. Been importing stuff from Japan ever since and I’m loving it.

I have been to Japan several times but it's the first time I am hearing of some of those awesome specialty stores. Thanks for that. Will check them out on my next trip.

New to the channel, one thing awesome is that tyou put the price and the conversion. Even if viewers aren't buying, at least we get an idea how much deal you are getting. Keep it up!

Loved the trip and can't wait to see the video game preservation documentary. I think you got something like an MSX or some other really rare Japanese computer. Can't wait to see what all you got!

I've really enjoyed your Japan series - thank you for putting those videos together! Great advice on setting a budget and having an idea of what you want before shopping - I've done the same thing at vintage gaming shows... but still, I would've had to rent a barge to ship all the stuff I couldn't resist!

Dang. Haven't made it all the way through the video, but that 1K PSP would've came home with me. Lol.

My OLED Vita is from Japan and I bought it shipped from Hiroshima a few years ago for less than $100. The Vita was extremely popular in Japan, so they are VERY common over there.

For Europe, the prices are all like a gift! The whole thing costs a lot for us! You pay several hundred euros for a PC engine!

You got to hang out with Scruffy! That’s awesome!

I can't believe you were in Japan at the same time as, Metal Jesus, Wood and Bob, and Elliott. And pretty much did the exact things, BUT DIDNT MEET UP WITH THEM. missed crossover opportunity of a lifetime
