So, there will be a classic actress video to follow this one. If you want somebody included now is your chance to say
Edit: I’m almost done so too late now

Thank you for including Clint Walker. He didn't get nearly the recognition he deserved when he first came on the scene, and he still doesn't, so it was gratifying to see him on this list of Hollywood classics. From all I've heard and read about him, he was the most honorable of them all.

Only a few of these surprised me, but most of all, Yul Brynner! He had such presence that when he walked into the screen, you couldn’t watch anyone but him! He always seemed 6 ft tall!

You know your old when you recall 90% of these actors on screen or TV when they were still alive and well.

Thanks for including Robert Donat. He’s one of my favorites and I didn’t realize he was 6’ tall. He was a great actor, though he’s largely forgotten in the USA today, unfortunately.

I had an opportunity to meet Christopher Lee once too, at a film-festival in San Jose sometime in the 1980s. Believe me: He was every bit as tall & cool-yet-intimidating up-close as he is on-screen!

The grouping is well done. To see the contrast between the different type of actors and find out they are the same height is surprising. Love these lists. So interesting.

This is freaking well done….the music, the scrolling…it’s addictive

Excellent production! I particularly liked the music and how all the celebrities "magically" appeared in the line up. I would like to see some "contemporary" stars added to this, in particular the ones I have heard are short. I am only 5'7" myself, and I would like to see some "short-stuffs" who made it good. In particular I am thinking of: Herve Villachez, Vern Troyer, Michael J. Fox, Dustin Hoffman, Tom Cruise, Paul Simon, Andy Summers, and Warwick Davis. Thank you Sir!

You failed to mention Audie Murphy who was a great actor and a Medal of Honor winner. He was awarded more medals than any other soldier.

Thanks for producing such good videos. Nice to see Ted Cassidy and Richard Kiel at the *top* of the list. As a boy in the 1970s I just assumed that "Lurch" and "Jaws" were the same actor, but as it turns out, they had a height difference of six inches.

I met Paul Newman in a grocery store in NY many years ago. I thought he was very small. I see he was average height in those days, but on screen he looked so tall! No doubt perceptions change when you see them in the flesh.

Bing Crosby, Yul Brynner, and Paul Newman were kind of amazing to me. I'd have thought they were all taller, Glenn Ford and Burt Lancaster were surprisingly taller than I expected. And you left out little Audie Murphy, war hero, actor, and Texan...so one of my favorites.

I remember years ago I tried to get the autograph of David Niven ..he told me to eff off...but when I got the signature of Vincent Price he was really charming ..and asked me what his favourite movie was ...celebrities eh !!

It's amazing how Hollywood is always able "average out" the heights of actors so there isn't a big contrast between them playing in the same movie. A result not by accident, but probably from the work of many skilled behind-the-camera people.

I knew we were in for some really interesting pictures when the size chart topped out at 7’ 6”! Great video!

Fred Astaire was 5'9"! He thought at the time, when they were casting for the 'Band Wagon', that she, Cyd Charisse, may have been too tall--so did she, so she wore flats and crouched slightly at the knees! She was 5'6", I believe! No problem, then! My favorite of all Fred Astaire's partnered choreography! Check it out if you have not! The 'Dancing In the Dark' number. Wonderful! ❤

My son spent three years in LA where his girlfriend was a YouTube actress. They went to the occasional party, and he saw many stars on the street. He was always amazed at how small they were (He's 6'4") compared to how big they looked on screen.

I love the terrific music you chose for this video.

This is great and clearly well researched. Interesting that there are always a few "shocks" - I would have imagined James Mason and Glen Ford as only about 5'6" but here they both are, at 5'11"! A fascinating resource tool, thank you for compiling it and I can't readily think of anyone you've missed.
