If you have already addressed this in a video, I apologize, as I have just become aware of your channel. More than querying or submission, I dread platform building and social media engagement. Nota bene, I do not have social anxiety or difficulties communicating with people, but I absolutely loathe social media and fundamentally distrust Big Tech (don't worry: I have not written my drafts in a cabin in the woods!). What advice would you give to a person such as myself who wants nothing to do with the social media machine but understands perfectly that this is the modern way of marketing and publishing? Am I done for if I don't want to engage at all that way, and do I need to just swallow that pill and grind on online marketing?

Thst feeling of powerlessness is strong. I remember sitting at a lunch table with about 7 women and telling them that giving birth is really harder on the guy. While the girl is in pain, that pain gives you focus. But for the husband, you are there hovering over the woman you love more than anything while she is in agonizing pain and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. Powerless. Its worse than pain. I dont think they agreed. 😂
