Audi RS6 vs AMG GT R Pro, which is quickest? Watch the video to find out!

With 0-100km/h times getting smaller and smaller, we decided to see how some of our MOTOR Performance Car of the Year 2021 contenders fared in the 0-200km/h sprint. Both the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro and Audi RS6 use a twin-turbo V8 to shunt themselves toward the horizon. But, one is a stripped out track-day car, and the other a practical all-wheel drive wagon.

Why would you bother publishing this, when you guys know that RS6 time was like half a second slower to 100, 1/4 mile and probably a second slower to 200 than what you got in the RS7?

Comments are harsh on this lol. This video is exactly as it states in the title. Straight to the point. Even if the Audi launched quicker, its still not going to get close to the 10 sec of the Merc.

Ah, expecting the GT R to be faster but, why did they not use launch control on the RS6 ? Even the Audi manufacturers claims are using launch control.

I sold an R8 V10 Plus and replaced it with an AMG GT R (Non Pro) so for all those spreadsheet lovers using the R8 for your "yea but" arguments (but zero real experience) the GT R is so much more special. V10 engine is a masterpiece but outside of that and most certainly on track, the GT R bests the R8 and then some. MUCH more special....and I say that as a former GT3 owner too. When you grow up and are able to drive these cars, as I suspect most of you are young and have no real experience, you will understand why 0-60 times are interesting but unimportant.

Very odd comparison but this is the same magazine that rates the GR Yaris a better performance car than the RS6 and Porsche Cayman gts.

To be honest, the AMG GT and the RS6 are not of the same caliber, it needs to compete with the Audi R8 V10 Performance. Best Audi and Best Merc. One thing for sure Audi kills the merc cold turkey.

Nice video, I just saw another 0-200 km/hr for the new M4 comp with 11.9 sec. They made the M4 quicker to 200 than RS6 !!

if you make with RS6 3, 98sec 0-100, , you have to go and to make again the drice license fuckin amatuer, i am m-driver, not audi fan, but what you did there is just a shame to put your face on a jail like a shit
