It is a nice review and iv seen others do it too on the same tool but i wish u would be testing these on newer cars like 2015 and above not 2003's and 2005's.

I bought a Launch X431 Diagun IV for mobile service. I have to say the damn thing works good for a Bidirectional scanner..

One more thing ----> there is no charger with this unit and even though it offers a USB to whatever the connector is called, I just decided to take an old PSU I had laying around and I charge it from that.

After all - a Computer PSU is super clean and absolutely correct voltage and it charges the 123E just fine. I was worried 'cause the battery was still going lower and lower even if I left it plugged into the USB connex.

It just didn't seem to charge very well at all that way.

I have a CRP129E that seems almost identical to this one. Be careful when using with Toyota. I have noticed that it comes defaulted to Europe on Toyota models, and you'll need to "set area" to America or else it won't connect to the vehicle. I spent entirely too much time trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect to any newer Toyota's lol

For a pro or someone who knows what their doing, and for the cost, it is a great scanner. Works well, just a little slow, all in all it is a real diag tool. Once again if you really know what your doing

You can graph more than one just click combine, and you can read misfire on each cylinder.

I didnt look up what resets, or functions it can do, but seems slower then my 229. Still looks like it shows all the pids, and I like that that one has the graphing ability. But if it's even 1/3 what the old ones are, it'll be a le to do most basic testing. Glad I got to see the new one jim.

Just got as a christmas present 😀 think will be a good first scanner. ty for post of functions! Did notice i can combine data stream on pids then will have multiple on one graph. 👍👍cant find a way to get to psi or farenheight but will keep playing with it.
