Haven't really done a complete farm tour of the land and many have asked for it. So, thought I would oblige this week. The farm is 2.5 hectares, with 1 hectare being between the access road and top public road.
Some days I need to pinch myself to make sure that I'm not dreaming. This beautiful land in this amazing country is mine. I am loving the life and loving living in the cottage. So glad I am able to share it with you.
If you haven't subscribed yet, then please subscribe to continue following my journey to restore an 120 year old stone cottage and ruins, and revive an abandoned farm into a functioning off-grid sustainable homestead.

You are truly blessed Cindy !

Every mound of soil, every blade of grass, every boulder, every plant and tree you are the keeper of … you are The Queen if Quinta Da Bela Pedro 👸👑 … may you reign over her for many years to come !

Oh great to see my Sadie looking warm and happy as she sits on your land … thank you my friend 👍

Beautiful vlog giving me a little time out from wind, cold and rain 🌧

You could plant drought tolerant (flowering?) ground covers amongst the rocks. Would make them stand out even more.

Thanks for the tour of your lans Cindy you have plenty of work to do. Can I sugest you plant maize in the old pig paddock the cobbs are feed and the stalks bedding. You believe one off your sows is pregnant make sure she is not iron deficient as she may eat her litter. My mum had a sow who did that she stopped it by feeding her sows a stew of meat(old cracker sheep) and veg including maize cobbs. This was after the vet explained why she was doing it, iron deficeincy. everthing is coming on beautifully with your farm Keep strong and healthy . Lana Australia

When is your rainy season? When I had a wood stove, I used the hardwood when it was really cold, like nineteen below zero.
Or -28C. I used small branches or pine or cedar when I just needed a quick heat up. The leaves help pull moisture out of the cut eucalyptus branches. They’re probably useable now.

Wow Cindy, the top part of your land is exceptionally beautiful. You're blessed to have some much indigenous vegetation! A little cabin under the Oaks would have a spectacular view.

Even though I've spent lots of time on the farm I really enjoyed watching this tour.
I couldn't think of anywhere to else to slap that (no longer needed) GB car magnet 😂
The greenhouse has passed the test! Great to see it still standing after those winds 👍🏽

You have come a long way even during the relatively short while I have been watching, Well done! 👍 👏

Since you are doing raised beds you can always put some on the rocky areas.

The tire you put the food dish in for the pigs, could you put some cement into it the next time you are working on a project?? Might make it a bit heavier and harder to push around?? Take care and stay safe!!

Thank you for the walk about - though the fast pace in the middle gave me vertigo -LOL. It is so beautiful. Sometime, it would be interesting to have a walk around the village.
