PLAINT
ESSENTIAL INGREDIENT BEFORE FILING
1. Determine court with competent jurisdiction
2. cause of action
3. whether the cause of action is time barred
4. Locus standi
5. Capacity
CASE TRACK SYSTEM
1. Small claim: a simple claim, involving not more than two parties and monetary value does not exceed KSHS 49,999/-.
2. Fast track: a case with undisputed facts and issues, relatively few parties and would likely conclude within 180days after pre trial.
3. Multi track: a case with complex facts and issues or several parties and likely to conclude within 240 days after pre trial.
