NEW PS5 Update For September: 1440p Support, Gamelists, Updated Game Hub Page, And More.

The latest major PS5 system software update is now here! This isn't exactly the most groundbreaking lineup of features, but certainly a lot of welcomed additions. Headlining this update is the much requested 1440p output! And we kinda have folders now? (Yeah, not really). Game Hubs also saw a pretty big change here. So let's go over all of that, and more in this new PS5 firmware. Mmmmm firmware. I love it. So stable, so fresh. So UPDATED. Really gets me going.

Hi everyone! Didn’t mention it in the video but there’s new mobile app features rolling out later this month too:
- Launching a remote play session directly from the main PS App on iOS/Android.
- Request a Share Screen directly from the PS App and watch it there.

Also didn’t demonstrate this on video, but this firmware should now also support a connected keyboard if you’re using remote play from desktop. Both when entering text or playing a game with keyboard support. If there’s any other changes that have gone unnoticed, feel free to point them out!

Weird complaint, but I wish there was an option to go back to how activity options functioned before. I prefer having the default game background screen no matter where I am in the game

I like the game ordering file system. Havent used the voice search function, but i bet its cool. The new card resume function looks more detailed. I like it as most of my games i just stop mid mission/mid day and go do something else.

What we really need is an update that allows us to manually back up individual PS5 games, instead of having to backup the entire system. Also, an update to allow us to see patch notes for PS5 games.
