Let's Learn English! Topic: Describing Aging Things and Places! 👖🏛️🏚️

This past week two words came up in a conversation: an eyesore, and lacklustre. I thought it would be fun to think of a few more English vocabulary words on the same theme and create a lesson out of them.

Welcome to this English lesson about describing things and places. In particular, we'll be learning how to describe old, ugly, aging things and places.

In this English lesson you'll learn words and phrases like: an eyesore, lacklustre, seen better days, ratty, worn out, decrepit, ramshackle, dated, a rustbucket, a gut job, neglected, in shambles, and many more.

I hope you enjoy this English class about describing things and places!

⌛ Remember: Always watch the video three times. Twice today with English subtitles on, and once tomorrow with the English subtitles off. This will reinforce the English you have learned!

I think I've now caught up on the videos I missed, Bob 😘. Thank you for the awesome lesson and for doing it despite your lack of sleep due to your Q&A lesson or, let's say, celebration livestream 💛. I wish you a nice rest of your day and a relaxing evening. Have a wonderful weekend, Bob. Greetings to your family. 🛋📚👓

I watched this stream first and I'll watch the other in the evening... this way, your streams will be framing my day - my brother comes in between. You already spoke about used items and old buildings in your former videos - I don't remember you did it in your short lessons or in your main channel - and this is the reason a lot of things sounded similar to me. I think your streams have a rotation in themes - you always go back and back to one motive. It is understandable because repetition is important and probably a lot of people have no time to rewatch your so-called "ancient" lessons from the beginning.
Thank you and congratulations for the 2 million subscribers!

Hi bob, I'm new to this channel, I just looked at your recent lesson and became a member in the end.

I'm sorry to say that you missed the word "ruined" which my history teacher always used with it.

I'm from South India.
