The 3D Mario title has to be the one that got delayed. Mario Kart is so big a multi-player title for Nintendo to not launch with the Switch 2.

"Long due for Mario" Bruh, there's a new Mario & Luigi game coming this year, in fact there's been new Mario projects releasing every year through the Switch's lifespan.

It won't happen, but I would feel so vindicated if a new Donkey Kong game was the launch title for the next system instead of a new Mario.

I would not be suprised if there was some sort of new IP for the launch title of the Switch 2 that is a party game of some sort that uses the gimmicks of what the console does.

So, based on the info that I'm gathering from this video, seems like the launch titles will probably be: Metroid Prime 4, Pokemon Legends ZA, new Mario Kart

This makes my theory that switch 2 will get a April 2025 releases


I do think prime 4 will be a cross gen launch game and the Mario game that got delayed might have been Mario Kart

And sincs switch 2 might release in april i think its gonna be a October Mario Kart X mighr come in October 2025

But now its probably gonna bw 3D Mario in the Summer and Mario Kart in October

I think that the delayed game is Mario kart, because they have been working on a new Mario game for a long time, but they have been working on Mario kart DLC and updates and patches for mk8d, but they haven't given a single DLC for Mario oddessy, so it would make sense.

The real launch game that will sell units is silksong
