Ok so this is not a theory per sey but interesting things that I noted.
- There's not only one "ina'nis" as there is mention of a second ina'nis (her family name being 一 read as before the second might be a hint uh)
- there was a selection, some sort of training of multiple potential vessels, of which only one succeeded in summoning the ancient ones, while using the life force/energy (memories?) of her peers (represented by the temaris)
- while the ritual was successful in the end, it trapped the girl inside her own mind. She grew up, so did her hairs by the time she breaks through
- I think violet takes place during that in between limbo time, where Ina's soul is kind of lost inside of herself until she reaches for a hand coming from the darkness.
=> The exact same hand appears in temari
- she then "accepts" the ancient ones call and awakens as the wahcher. Her hairs turn white.

- meanwhile, meconopsis is an alternate possibility where she rejects the call and decide to chose her own path in the name of love.

there's so many possibilities it's really just so cool ty Ina for creating this

The fact that her name "Ninomae" meaning the one before two/second explains it then. She is the one before the second Inanis. The firstborn. The head of the family. But there is a second inanis, perhaps her younger sister or sisters (seeing there's 4 others in 1:22), and they all died, leaving her alone with the 4 souls trapped in the temari balls, haunting her and caused her slow descent to madness
