Sonic Unleashed and Generations beautifully demonstrate the boost formula done RIGHT.

To be fair, unleashed has dlc’s while generations does not. Unleashed is by far way harder, levels are longer. I mean shi it quite literally has a battle/leveling up system. Generations is kinda just “how fast can you beat this level”. I mean shi I’ve beaten generations in not even an hour while unleashed has actual gameplay. You can’t beat that game in one hour.
