What is Data Observability?

Показать описание
Data is everywhere - it powers the digital services, products, and decisions your company depends on.

But what happens when the data is wrong?

We call this problem data downtime -- periods of time when data is missing, inaccurate, or otherwise erroneous -- and it costs companies millions of dollars per year in time and resources.

Software engineering teams have been managing application downtime for over a decade to deliver better digital experiences for their customers and keep applications online.

At Monte Carlo, we think it's time we apply that same level of diligence to our data. Introducing data observability, an end-to-end approach to enable teams to deliver more reliable and trustworthy data.

Data observability ensures that you’re the first to know about data issues, that you’re equipped to resolve those issues quickly, and that you understand your environment deeply enough to prevent issues from happening in the first place.

Almost didn't watch, because this has to be BS, of course we are real, I think for myself, unless you want to redefine artificial. Sometimes it's just ridiculous to try to suspend reality, artificial reality is one of those what do you call it oxymoron? You know like jumbo shrimp. Maybe I'm just not deep enough.
