I absolutely bloody love all this! I had over 100 Mega Drive games as a kid. Wish I kept alot of them now.

Still probably my most enjoyable gaming period. Everything from the box art to the cartridges. Just loved that era and this brings back so many happy memories 😎

Some real finds in this video too that even I don't remember seeing back in the day.

The Sega MD cards are an eye opener for me, I didn’t know they exist! Congrats on collecting the full set of them. 👍

Really enjoyed the collection update….
I have just nabbed one of those ATP tour games, it’s quite uncommon- I am only going for the uk set as I collect too much already.
I got my True Lies on my sisters wedding day…had a nip round the local game shops in her town before the wedding and nabbed it for £20…it was going back 15 years now!
Love the look of that Bubsy card box set.
It’s been really good to follow your journey, all the best.

Dude, I'm from a small channel in Brazil, and I love your videos when you show the box and cartridge.😮
I'm amazed by all of this, because here in Brazil everything is very expensive and I don't have the possibility of getting new games like that, we end up having to buy repros or pirated ones...😟

It's crazy to see what's hard to find/expensive in PAL as opposed to here in NTSC-land.
I randomly have a beautiful PAL MegaDrive copy of Flink, I love it as a big Adventures of Lomax fan on PS1. I got it because I never bought a Sega CD and really wanted to play it, found out PAL had a MegaDrive release and got it off of ebay years ago. My copy of Flink has a really cool sticker on it advertising a 10 pound off coupon from all these weird European stores I've never heard of. It's always cool to see stuff like that across the pond

I must admit, I do envy how believably excited you get over these retro games

I enjoy my retro arch setup on my mini PC, but I haven't been into games with enthusiasm like yours since I was a kid going to blockbuster video

Another banger of a video, Mike!

I always loved those Aero (and Zero) games. And most Asterix games on Sega systems are pretty solid too.
Mega Games 6 vol 3??? So lucky, I've been looking for it for ages!!!!
Still waiting for my Cursed Legacy, looks so good!!!

Ha cool! The carrying case! So I didn’t know if there ever was an official case, or if there even was one for a genesis.

I own 6 consoles (I think it’s 6) and I was able to salvage some old Hitachi drill cases from my last employer (cases took up space). I would cut away the deviders out to allow my consoles to fit. With room for cords and controllers.
They have hitachi branding, but labelled with sharpie

Hi Mike, your collection is amazing! You're one of the best Mega Drive collectors I know, and I've learned a lot from your videos. I see that you're primarily collecting PAL Mega Drive games, but you've also added Brazilian TecToy titles to the mix. While Brazil is a 60 Hz region, I know that isn't the only factor that defines PAL – there’s something about the color encoding too, I believe.

That said, besides the exclusive titles, most of the other games released in Brazil, especially the American Genesis games, were also available there. My question is: do you plan to include those in your collection as well? For example, TecToy released Gargoyles, an amazing game that's not in your collection yet. Since you’ve already included Yu Yu Hakusho: Sunset Fighters, the Brazilian Portuguese version of Yu Yu Hakusho Makyō Tōitsusen, it seems fitting to consider all the Genesis exclusives that were released in Brazil. What do you think?

One more thing that you may already know: Mônica na Terra dos Monstros, a Brazilian exclusive, is essentially a modification of Wonder Boy in Monster World. It was released twice – the original version in a plastic case like other TecToy games, and a more recent version (I believe in 2017) in a paper box by TecToy. Good luck and Cheers!

Seeing the games you still need, I was really excited on the rare occasions I had a game you need. The one that sticks in the mind is Bram Stoker's Dracula, I picked that up a couple of weeks ago for £80 for an exceptionally minty copy. Your remaining games aren't all over £100!

But does the game True Lies have the best scene from the movie? Hmmm?
Hurricanes with the sneaky platformer hidden behind a sports look--note taken!
Love that look at your Sega collector's coins; there's something about items like this that I love seeing.
I used to collect comic cards, so I like seeing these Sega cards too. AND, nice to see them in protective cases and put in with the games. That's what I did with the LRG cards when they still did those--protective cases and then stored with said game.
Such a beautiful and eclectic collection of Sega goodness here Mike!

Those holes in the carry case might fit a Master System 2.

Nice collection I’ve got some of the games that you have in your collection like Bram Stoker’s Dracula as well as pebble Beach golf links which I didn’t pay too much for and I think it’s the only T&E soft game that we got in the UK apart from Super Hydlide, I also have Bubsy, I also admire your standards when it comes to collecting games in regards to the condition that they must be in I’m very much like that any mega drive game that I buy it has to have the complete set box booklet and the cartridge, it’s cool that you got there mega city version of Dune.

Some great additions, there. True Lies actually took me by surprise, and i found it to be quite a good game. But i have to agree, the levels went on a bit too long.
