What happened to this guy? Use to listen to him a while back. Something happened in LA, he had to pack his bags overnight. Became very hateful? His ID.4 has instrument panel and moving vents. Remind him without Tesla his channel wouldn't exist.

Vents take 5 pages of interface to change in a Tesla? I count 1. Also I can change every vent in the car with that one button press. No reaching over to passenger side to move vents.

Personally I don't want knobs and buttons. It looks very dated. Blackberry vs. iPhone.

And I'm satisfied with Tesla navigate, though I've never used android or apple auto, so am I missing something with those?

The build quality on my M3 was great! Went over it with a checklist in hand on delivery. Right side horn button was off a bit, but they fixed it right there. Drove away a happy customer.

I believe Tesla still gives you the most well-rounded EV for the money. They might not be the cheapest, but value per dollar, they are the best. The supercharger network is a big part of that, but so is the combination of safety, software and performance.

Wait "plenty of other cheaper EVs out there" ?!? Did a fair bit of looking and the only one I could find was the Bolt, which is what we went with. Everything else seemed to be priced at or above Tesla.
Maybe you are trying to say manufacturers have specific models that should be compared to Y, S, or X yet their prices are less than those Teslas.

Was never a huge Tesla fan. HOWEVER the price for other EVs are outrageous! To be able to order a brand new model 3 rwd white ext black interior and basic wheels… $41, 630. Affordable and still modern and luxury. Only cars in that price range are subcompact tin cars etc: Chevy bolt 👎 Niro 👎 Kona 👎 Leaf 🤏🫤 are all Overpriced and not affordable to majority of people especially once they hit dealer lot. At least with Tesla the middle man(dealer mark up) is taken out of the equation

Tesla hate syndrome is real. At 39K, the only less expensive EV is a Bolt, Mini, or leaf. The Model 3 is made in Texas. For 39K, you get memory seats, autosteer, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel plus a heat pump.

I will keep my tesla stock because I believe the model "2" will sell like crazy, but I don't own one because I like buttons, and knobs, and flappy paddles on my car. Not a menu.

lets face it: Tesla is several years ahead of the competition in terms of making a long distance EV(yes, i know stuff like Ioniq 6 is out. several years after the model 3). they have a very solid network that is easy to use unlike what the drivers of other EVs have to deal with. but quality or at least quality control... yeah, ffs, it just isn't there.
