It's been a long time since I last heard this hymn, how very apt this hymn is for the end times that we are now living in before Jesus Christ returns to the Earth for the second time.

When I first turned to GOD, this song kept going around and round in my head, yet I only knew afew word's that I would repeat over again then whilst I was in the kitchen tidying up I heard this song on TV!. I believe with all my heart that it was GOD showing the words. Now you have it on YouTube and I can listen or sing to it as often as I wish ❤❤
Thank You! And keep up the good work Soldiers of GOD 🙏🙏🙏🕊️🕊️

It would be a good deed for Jesus to type this hymn and print it on small slips of paper to hand to strangers as a reminder why we are here. Jesus saves.

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the Word of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!

Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the Word of Jesus going on before.

At the sign of triumph Satan’s host doth flee;
On then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

(Refrain)

Like a mighty army moves the church of God;
Brothers, we are treading where the saints have trod.
We are not divided, all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.

(Refrain)

Crowns and thrones may perish, kingdoms rise and wane,
But the church of Jesus constant will remain.
Gates of hell can never ’gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise, and that cannot fail.

(Refrain)

Onward then, ye people, join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices in the triumph song.
Glory, laud, and honor unto Christ the King,
This through countless ages men and angels sing.

(Refrain)
